HOUSE RULES

House Rules & Structure Providing safety, structure, and support for lasting recovery At Maple Moon Wellness, our sober living program is built on mutual respect, personal accountability, and a shared commitment to recovery. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment for every resident. House Rules Sobriety is mandatory No drugs, alcohol, or mind-altering substances are allowed on or off the property. Random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted. Any violation will result in immediate dismissal. Curfew compliance Weekdays: 12:00 AM Weekends: 12:00 AM Curfew extensions may be approved for verified work or recovery-related activities. Respect for others No violence, threats, intimidation, or harassment. No entering another resident’s room without permission. Maintain respectful language and behavior at all times. Clean and shared living Shared chores must be completed daily. No dishes left in the sink overnight. Bedrooms must be kept clean and free of clutter. Kitchen closes at 9:30 PM — all food preparation must be finished and space cleaned by then. Visitors and guests Approved visitors only. No overnight guests. All visitors must sign in and out. Employment and recovery activity Residents are encouraged to work, volunteer, or attend school. Attendance at recovery meetings (AA/NA or approved support groups) is required as per your program plan. Maintain active participation in your recovery goals. Legal compliance Residents must follow all local, state, and federal laws. Any criminal activity will result in immediate dismissal. Technology and privacy Phones and electronics are permitted but should not interfere with recovery or house obligations. Respect the privacy of others — no recording or sharing of other residents without consent. Safety & Security No weapons of any kind on the premises. Fire exits must remain clear at all times. Report any safety concerns immediately to the House Manager. House Structure 1. Live-In House Manager Oversees daily operations, ensures rules are followed, and provides support to residents. 2. Weekly House Meetings Held to discuss concerns, review progress, and share updates. Attendance is mandatory. 3. Chore Schedule Each resident is assigned weekly tasks such as cleaning shared spaces, bathrooms, and kitchen. Rotation ensures fairness. 4. Recovery Plan Tracking Individual recovery plans are created for each resident. Progress is reviewed regularly with the House Manager or assigned case coordinator. 5. Drug & Alcohol Testing Conducted randomly and/or upon suspicion. Positive results lead to immediate discharge. 6. Accountability System Strike policy for minor infractions (3 strikes = discharge). Major violations (violence, drugs, theft) result in immediate dismissal. 7. Supportive Services Access to local job resources, education assistance, outpatient counseling, and community meetings. Referrals for therapy, medical care, and legal aid when needed.
